Substantiated, not just claimed
Indy Maé Skin · Clinical Substantiation
Clinical-grade, documented.
“Clinical-Grade” is a standard we hold our formulas to — not a mood. This page sets out, in plain language, who develops and manufactures Indy Maé products, how each claim is substantiated, and where you can review the documentation behind it.
01 · Who formulates and makes Indy Maé
Our formulas come from a laboratory,
not a marketing department.
A Pharmacist-led formulation
Indy Maé formulas are produced by Trilogy Laboratories, the Fort Myers, Florida skincare manufacturer co-founded by Dr. Kristen Flaharty, PharmD — a Doctor of Pharmacy with more than 20 years in pharmaceutical product development. Her standard governs the library from which our formulas are drawn: active ingredients at meaningful concentrations, supported by delivery systems designed to perform.
B Manufactured under GMP ISO 22716
ISO 22716 is the international Good Manufacturing Practice standard for cosmetics — covering raw-material control, production hygiene, batch traceability, and finished-goods testing. Indy Maé products are manufactured under this standard at Trilogy's facility in Fort Myers.
C Tested before release
Each production batch is checked in-house for stability, microbial integrity, and packaging compatibility before it ships. Small batches are planned deliberately, so the products that reach you are fresh and potent.
D Documentation on request
Certificates of Analysis, INCI ingredient labeling, batch records, and stability data are available on request, where applicable — see Documentation below.
02 · Our claim standard
Every claim, and what stands behind it.
Indy Maé products are cosmetics. We describe what formulas are designed to do — improve the look and feel of skin — and we keep an evidence file for each claim. This ledger is that file, in public.

03 · The actives, clearly explained
What's in the bottles, and why.
Cosmetic actives are chosen for how they help skin look and feel. Here is each key ingredient in the collection, what it does, and where it appears.
An antioxidant concentration that helps visibly brighten dull, uneven tone and soften the look of fine lines and sun damage. The hero of our Day Renewal Serum.
A retinoate ester studied for retinoid-like benefits with a gentler profile than classic retinoids. It supports smoother-looking skin and a refined appearance of fine lines.
Short chains of amino acids that help skin look firmer and more resilient — the appearance-support workhorses across the renewal system.
Lipids naturally found in skin that help support the moisture barrier, so skin feels comfortable, supple, and less reactive.
Cosmetic-grade signal proteins included to help skin look restored and renewed — part of the collection's overnight support.
A botanical extract used in premium skincare to help skin look hydrated, luminous, and youthful.
Polyphenol-rich antioxidants that help defend skin's appearance against environmental stressors — paired with the vitamin C in our day serum.
Calming botanicals that leave the cleanse comfortable and comfortable-feeling, with vitamin E for extra softness.
04 · Published research on our key actives
Independent studies, openly cited.
These are peer-reviewed studies of the ingredient classes used in Indy Maé formulas — retinoid esters, vitamin C combinations, and their visible results on photoaged skin. They are independent studies of ingredients and comparable formulations, not trials of our finished products.
A clinical study combining HPR with retinol, peptides, and an antioxidant — the same ingredient classes as our Vitamin A Pro pairing — reported visible improvement in mild photoaged skin, with favorable tolerability.
Studied the combination of retinoid esters (including HPR) with vitamin C and reported significant anti-aging and brightening effects — supporting the logic of pairing our Vitamin A Pro Serum with our Vitamin C 20% serum.
Mechanistic research showing HPR's innate retinoid activity on skin models — foundational published science behind choosing HPR as our gentler retinoid ester.
The maker of our formulas also maintains an ingredient-education library — see Trilogy's notes on peptides, retinoids, vitamin C, and hydrating acids.
